Mammogram Results - Negative =) Yipee!!!!

Coming home after a hectic day at work made me jump for joy when I got a notice from the hospital that my test for mammogram is negative.  My son and his classmate were both wondering why I was jumping and dancing at the garage hahahahahahahaha.  Waiting for results with regards to anything is horrible, right?  Now I can sleep tight not worrying of anything well except of course beating the deadlines for my craft projects =)

Here's my card for the day.  I made this card few weeks ago when I was thinking positively that my mammogram result is all clear.  Day in and day out I did my best to think positively before the scheduled date of test and much more during the waiting game.   I will definitely drink wine later when hubby is back from work.  For now, I have to bake something coz I have a guest ... actually my son's guest - his classmate =)  They're both crazy when it comes to military related things so as of this writing they are both at the living room playing with what else but all the military toys my son have.

Bus Eller Godis !!!

Happy Halloween everyone!  "Bus eller Godis" means trick or treat =)

We had few knocks at the door this night and luckily we have left-over candies from my son's Halloween birthday party last night.  I don't think more kids will come at this hour so Joseph grabbed the last pack of candy and I can hear him right now enjoying the candies while watching his fave kiddie show.

Nope!  I did not make any Halloween cards this day but managed to make few cards this afternoon after work.  Nothing intricate but I like what I made so I'm smiling =)

Good night everyone!

Kärlek (Love)

First and foremost I'm happy to say that the magician for my son's birthday called yesterday evening and confirmed that he is coming on the day of the party.  Yipee!!!!  Since Monday I have been worried about the magician coz he got mixed-up with dates but as of last night all is clear.  Can you see me smiling?  Whew!  I have kept this situation from my hubby coz I don't want him to worry about it.  In my mind I'm already thinking of an alternative should the magician not show up but now all I can do is continue more projects and last minute lists of things to bring for the party.

We decided not to hold the party here at home coz approximately 40 people will be coming and 75% are kids and the rest are parents.  We rented a big place just near our place ... a block away actually so I really have to make a list of  what to bring.  I wouldn't dare come running home just to get a hammer or a rope wearing my Halloween costume, right?  The good part is 2 parents will be helping me set up the decorations I made .... prepare food ... and of course the mini stage.  Which reminds me I still have to send emails to all the guests informing them to bring pillows were they can sit coz the magician will be performing for 1 hour and he suggested it's best for the kids to sit on the floor while parents sit on chairs.

Anyway, my card for this day is once again simple and applicable for love, anniversary, or friendship =)  I used MS deep edge punch - Daisy Chain" and Doily Lace Trim edger... added 2 pearl hearts  ... and stamped scripted kärlek (love) using white CTMH ink pad.

See you around =)

Happy Wishes

Haist!  I'm in a deep panic mode just right now.  Why?  The hired magician for my son's Halloween birthday party is out of reach.  He called me 2x last Sunday late afternoon and I was bedridden half of that day.  By the time I checked my mobile phone it was already past midnight.  In his message he said he is coming on the 29th for the party where in fact we had email conversation from time to time that the party is on the 30th.  Hurriedly I sent an email and posted a message on his website but still no response from him.  I called him this noon and it was an answering machine and so I left a messge.  Now .... still awaiting for any form of response!

It will be the last birthday party for my son coz the next time I throw a big celebration will be on his 13th or maybe 15th ... it depends on his teen life mode, right?  There will be around 40 guests and everyone is excited about a private magical show.

Oh God help us on this matter. I pray that the celebration will go as planned and as anticipated by the kids, Amen.

I know I should absorb positive thoughts and not let worries take place coz I might breakdown and so I tried my best to execute a sweet looking card overflowing with happy thoughts making Happy Wishes =)

I hope this one you will all like.

Now I will drink a cup of nice caffe mocha and sit on my massage chair after.  Once relaxed will go back to my craft room and double check everything needed for my son's Halloween birthday party ..... then take photos of few more Baptismal items I made for a client.

until then......

I Love to Shop

Yup, was not able to post anything yesterday here all because I had to work longer hours since one of our pretty staff was sick.  I hope she's better now.  Aside from working long hours, I spent my time shopping at Vaksalatorg.  Two times a year we have a "fair" down the city and it's just located in front of one of our stores.  They don't sell craft materials every fair but once in a while they do but not this time :(

Comparing the fair held last February, I would say the items this time are truly nice.  I mostly bought items for Joseph and as for my hubby, well, I was not able to buy the socks he like so much because they sell it in packs of different colors and the only color he wants is black :(  But I know I made him very happy when I gave him 1/2 kilo of nougat =)  I didn't buy much for me except for a winter blouse which I can't resist the price and also few Christmas paper napkins and Halloween cupcake holders which I intend to use for my son's Halloween birthday party this month.  And of course few packs of 3D stickers =)

Anyway, I stumbled upon a picture few minutes ago at http://subwaystar.blogg.se/2009/august/fototriss-kommunikation.html and I would like to share it with all of you so you have a peek of how it looks like down the fair.  I suggest you visit the http://subwaystar.blogg.se  because that site has so many great pictures.

Now here's the card I made yesterday late night but had no strength to upload anymore coz my bed is calling me every second and my eyes are shutting off =)

Girls really love to shop!

For this card I used one of the 3D stickers I bought from the fair then embellished it with my 3D paper roses I made using the Sizzix die .... punched leaves and viola!

Once again THANKS for looking =)

Argyle Love

It's a lazy Sunday for me ... as always.

I always wake up very late which means nearly lunch time.  Yeah I know wasted hours for crafting but no matter what I do even if I try to get up early I always end up going back to bed.

I love Sundays.  A day were-in all of us are just too lazy to do anything except to watch films or some laundry or just stay in respective favorite corners.  I think the clock ticks slow during Sundays.

Due to my laziness I created a very simple card.  See to believe.

All I did was just used a left-over cardstock .... then adhere a fabric flower in silver and black .... lastly added my paper rose which I made using the Sizzix 3D Rose.

Although it's very very simple I believe it's so perfect for anniversary or everyday love from ages 35 above.  What do you think?

Well, back to the TV room and maybe there's a nice romantic or adventure film but I'm really hoping for a horror film =)

Thanks for viewing =)
