Forever Young Ladies in Shadow

The weather is great this day as compared to yesterday.  It was cold, windy and snowing and I was not in luck coz I had to work BUT this day I'm free so I got busy in my craft room NOT cleaning nor sorting but simply playing.  The first play I did was with the Forever Young Cartridge.  It has been a long time now since I really wanted to cut those ladies in shadows specifically for my art journaling.  I'm not good in illustrations so either I cut human images from magazines or use stencils/templates/masks.

I'm happy with all the cuts I did.  Yeah, I did cut all the ladies in the cartridge - 20 all in all and each is 7" tall just the right size for my art journaling.

Definitely I will NOT throw the negatives from the cut coz they're oh-so-delicious to use in art journaling, too.

Ok, time to cook dinner =)

Happy Crafting!

PINAY Layout - Revamp

Another traditional scrapbook layout I revamped yesterday and few more to come.  I'm happy with the results and I think it will take several years before I get tired with it and revamp again.  I mainly used Forever Young Cricut Cartridge ... used pastel glittered alpha chipboards and maintained the Pinay concept of my layout.

BEFORE
With this previous LO I adhered acrylic jumbo flowers and jumbo sequins, a native hat and a pendant that says Världens Bästa Mamma (The Worlds' Best Mom) plus the diamond studded ruby earings my mom gave to me.  can you imagine how limited my supplies when I started paper crafting?  Through the years my craft room with all the goodies in it grew that I have to make another craft room down the basement.

NOW - 2011

The woman with a handbag is a cut I made using Forever Young Cricut Cartridge =)  I added a flower bling on the handbag and used pearlmaker at the center.

Will do more revamping this day and tomorrow ... I think.

until then.....

I know for a fact that a LOT of crafters already made this kind of cards and I don't mind becaues I have my own touch into it.  It took a lot of love and patience just to make all these cards for a cute, bouncy, sweet, adorable, and handsome baby.  I truly enjoyed making these cards and it did put a big smile on my face all the way through which I needed badly with this kind of weather we're having at this time of the year.
