Wow! It's been such a long time for me to update my site all because I decided to concentrate helping hubby in our companies. It's a different kind of fulfillment but deep in my heart I miss crafting ... miss it so much that it hurts.
Anyway, it's first day of October and an hour more here then it will be another day. This day of every year we all know that it's World Card Making Day (WCMD) and a dear crafty friend, Joan of Tinker Planet, had given me a wack (lol) when I woke up this morning. She's actually having a blog candy and if you are interested hop in to her blog and read more about it coz her BG has a great twist.
The wack was indeed a wake-up call for me to which I'm very very thankful. Geez! It has been ages since I sat for long hours here in my craft room. I had to take long walks to get some inspiration but I was not successful. My whole being is fully concentrated on the decors, give-a-ways, and invitations I have to send out by this coming Tuesday with regards to my son's kiddie halloween birthday party. The invites are not done yet so sad to say I cannot make the cards my entry for this day. However, I pulled out one cricut cartrdige ... opened a page from the handbook and with eyes closed I pinpointed an image that I will play with.
The cartridge I randomly pulled out is "Spring Holiday Cards" and the image is the skull :) It truly is the start of Halloween month.
I enjoyed making this simple card coz it turned out a fun break for me after long hours of doing the Halloween invites. Will post the invites as soon as all 32 pieces are done =)
