Great Labels Cut from Small Talk Frames & Tags Cartridge

Ah, finally after 11 hours of sitting down and at the same time cutting images, printing pictures and chatting with my RAK group, I finished cutting all the label images in Small Talk, Frames & Tags Cart.  I only cut my fave ones and of course I will be sharing some to my fellow RAKers at our FB group.

I really really really love the said cartridge coz so many images ... if not all ... are just perfect for Smashing and PL pages.  This is one cartridge that I don't regret buying at all.   Well actually I have no regret in investing with the Cricut Carts.  I still believe that I can work with it side-by-side with my Brother Scan N Cut and of course my Silhouette.

Polaroid Frames Cut from Cricut (RAK)

Good afternoon everyone!  It's a beautiful Sunday here in Sweden that I took a long walk 3x this day.  It would have been perfect if our dog Kasper is still alive.  This kind of weather he loves and would literally drag me for long walks.

Anyway, I still played with my Cricut today and once again made use of scraps and yes, I played with Small Tlak Frames & Tags Cratridge.  I just LOVE the cartridge coz everything is in it and perfect for Project Life pages.  Honestly, the reason why I am motivated to play with my Cricut lately is because I want to fulfill fellow crafters wishes.  Some of them don't have a machine and based on the wishlist they want particular cuts either from Cricut or Silhouette.  Going through the wishlist, luckily I have the carts to make some cuts =)

My project this day is just to cut some polaroid frames.  I did cut ALL the available said frames and will be packing it for mailing.  Here are the frames:

 Oh I even made some teeny weeny tags, too.  I had frustration when I cut these cuties so maybe I should buy the Cricut Explore so that small cuts are clean and crisp!

Here are the frames each laid down for easy viewing.  Something went wrong with the words but I did cut each of the same size.

I think I will be cutting more for my personal use =)  But now I have to cook dinner so no Cricut Play for an hour or so.

Mini Cameras from Small Talk Frames & Tags Cartridge

Last night while preparing dinner I played with my latest cart Small Talk Frames and Tags Cartridge.  My first cut was the camera.  I find it so cute and perfect for Project Life cards as an embellishment.  The cardstock I used are just leftovers so I had to cut it one by one instead of auto fill.  I made assorted colors and white to the size of 1 1/4" then added crystal stickles on the lens portion of each camera.  All in all I made 48 pieces.  It's a lot for a first batch so a portion will be given to someone lucky at a group for RAKers at FB.  But just in case you come across this blog and would love to have then just leave a comment and rest assured you will be included in the raffle =)

Impulse Buying to Cure the Blues

With so much going on in my craft zones I totally forgot that I've got 3 NEW Cricut Cartridges which I got last 23rd of January this year.  The truth is it was a snowy day and I'm all alone at home feeling blue and buying something normally makes my mood glad and such gladness would last the whole day feeling the excitement as to when the package will arrive.  Well, I'm glad I did buy it out of impulse coz looking at the cuts one can make is really awesome.  I even had no idea that new cartridges being sold does not have the overlay and having said that one has to buy a separate Universal Overlay.  Whew!  I actually bought it,too, because it was on sale - practically paying nothing at all and thinking that maybe someday I need it.  Little did I know that I really need it to use my new bought cartridges.

Small Talk Frames & Tags is actually my favorite now that I have scrutinized every page in the booklet.  It is just so perfect for my Project Life.  The question is will I not be lazy to make some cuts soon?, haist!  I'm not really lazy - it's just that so much going on in my life that I tend to do easier craft tasks with my limited free time.  Yeah, I have to dwell on making cuts from this cartridge for one day sooner or later coz the images are truly perfect for Project Life.



Edge To Edge -  it's very inspiring to cut my own stencils using this cartridge.  Each cut is truly unique in it's own way.  Well, the same way with my Paper Lace 1 and 2 cartridges I can cut stencils but in edge to edge the images I see are truly different.

 
When I Was a Kid Cricut Circle Membership - I bought it because it's been 4 years now that I don't do scrapbooking.  Bad, right?  I'm just tired everyday that conceptualizing my layout I end up falling asleep.  So, maybe just maybe with this cartridge scrapbooking part of my son's childhood years will help me.    Oh my I didn't even know that there are 2 kinds of this cart :  the Cricut Circle Membership and Cricut® Everyday Cartridge, When I Was a Kid.  The one I bought states that Digital Version included and Cricut Membership logo.  Hhhmmm so does it mean my cart has more cuts than the other kind?  I don't know - I have to find that out one of these days.


So there you go!  What winter blues can do to me!!!!
